Burnout and overindulgence are major problems that rarely get acknowledged, partly because they can be hard to identify.

There are times when the problem isn't that what you're watching is bad, it's that you've seen enough of it. This happens with every artform. "Too much of a good thing" is real, particularly if you like to follow several products at once, and consuming too much wrestling over a long period of time will leave you feeling jaded and disinterested.

Your writer has found two effective solutions when this problem hits: diversify, or take some time off.

The latter obviously isn't workable for yours truly, given his chosen profession, but it might work for you. Take a month off. If you don't feel suitably refreshed, take two. You don't need to permanently immerse yourself in this universe, so if you're getting burned out, switching off for however long you need might work wonders. If it works, bored viewers should come back with fresh perspective and renewed enthusiasm.

Diversifying works wonders, too. Tired of Sports Entertainment? Switch to NXTfor a while. Fed up with super serious "real sport" presentation? Go watch some R-Truth segments.
