It all started on Raw Roulette in October 2002 when the worst angle is wrestling history debuted - the ‘Katie Vick’ storyline.

After Kane won a 4 way TLC Tag Title match to retain the straps, HHH walked out and said he knew a secret about Kane. HHH asked Kane if the name ‘Katie Vick’ rang a bell, before confessing to the world Kane was a murderer. The following week Kane entered the ring and told fans his side of the story - he had a girlfriend called Katie when he was younger, and one night they had a little too much to drink and Kane got behind the wheel and eventually lost control of the car. Kane got injured, but Katie died.

A week on, HHH continued to ridicule Kane. A video clip was shown of HHH wearing a Kane mask posing as the Big Red Machine at Katie Vick’s funeral. There was a fake body laying in a casket so HHH grabbed the dummy, and then went on to have sex with it. Kane ended that same show by stuffing HHH in the trunk of his rental car and leaving with the final words of, "Now I'm going to screw you!"

Bruce Prichard said on his Something To Wrestle podcast that multiple crew involved in filming the angle quit afterwards because of how horrible and offensive it was. The American network, TNN at the time, was seemingly fine broadcasting it. Sky Sports in the UK was not. They found it excessively awful and refused to air it.

Apparently necrophilia is not something a sports channel wants on its screens.
