10 Seriously Overlooked WWE Heels

9. Sherri Martel

Ask any longtime wrestling viewer who the top heel managers are and they will reply with someone like Paul Heyman, Bobby 'The Brain' Heenan, Jim Cornette or Jimmy Hart. Unfortunately, Sherri Martel won't often be found in their thoughts, a mind-blowing oversight considering how unbelievably good Martel was at playing heel.

Sherri managed everyone from Ted DiBiase and Randy Savage to Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair during her time in the pro wrestling business. Along the way, she also earned a living by being pretty handy inside the ring to boot. Martel's talents exceeded merely being eye candy, although she was a looker in her day.

Listen to guys like Booker T (who worked with Sherri when she managed Harlem Heat) or Ric Flair talk about Sherri and it becomes clear that the talent she worked with didn't take her for granted. Sadly, it's actually WWE themselves who rarely discuss the venomous female, she certainly deserves to be listed amongst the top managers in company history every time.
