Even when Brock Lesnar is not there, he still dominates the headlines. This is no exception. The reason for that is obviously Paul Heyman, whose pitch on Monday Night Raw to The Authority concerning a guaranteed plan C set the wrestling world ablaze. Was it a reference to CM Punk? Was The Best in the World actually on his way back to WWE? But despite all the talk about Punk, the fact is that most fans believe it will be Lesnar that shows his face on July 20. Of course, it's unknown right now what capacity that Lesnar will come in. If Heyman is offering his client's services, the question is what are those services exactly? Are fans to believe that Lesnar will cooperate with The Authority, to be their hit man in the WWE World Championship match at Battleground? Or is it more likely that The Anomaly will attack only when the match is over, destroying the winner and making his statement of intent to challenge for the title? And at the end of the day, does it really matter? The point is that WWE is likely moving forward with Brock Lesnar in this storyline. Lesnar's presence at Battleground changes everything for the main event and for the Superstars involved. Now the focus will not necessarily be on who wins but on how much Lesnar will hurt that man when he comes to the ring. WWE knows how to make an impact on the big events and Battleground will be no different.
