This man would not be returning to WWE as he never worked there before but in many ways, it is like a homecoming for him. After all, WWE contains the last remnants of WCW, the company that Sting called home for over 10 years. And for many fans, this is by far the best time and place for him to finally come full circle. WWE is the company that Sting deserves to work for. The fans deserve to see the icon finally be showcased on the worldwide stage and Sting needs this moment in time to put the exclamation point on his already legendary career. This is what pro wrestling is all about and more importantly, it's what WWE is all about; giving fans what they want to see. But this moment is not complete without The Undertaker. And while a match between the two men may be up in the air at this point, the fact is that a face to face confrontation needs to happen. Seeing Sting on WWE programming is one thing; seeing Sting standing next to The Deadman is something else altogether. Battleground may not be SummerSlam and it's certainly not WrestleMania. But with the recent free week of the WWE Network and the push for fans to buy it to tune in on July 20, the company may be leading to something very big. All they need is one spot, one very brief moment, to get everything rolling. Sting is there and wants to do business. WWE must try to make it happen. Time to give the fans what they want.
