3. He Was Allegedlly A Steroid Dealer
Dr George Zahorian was hired by the WWF as a physician but, as it turned out, was the main steroid distributor to the wrestlers backstage. In 1989, the FBI subpoenaed his account records and saw that the likes of Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Vince McMahon received shipments. Eventually, this link came back to haunt McMahons empire almost bringing it down. Zahorian was jailed and the prosecution hoped that McMahon would follow in 1994. The trial was a dark cloud over WWF but - whilst wearing a sympathetic neck brace McMahon was found not guilty on July 22nd. A huge crisis was finally over. Times have now changed, as the wrestling industry isnt obsessed with huge muscles its about talent and ability.
