10 Most Shocking Allegations Made Against Vince McMahon

2. The WWE And Race

A long-time accusation against the WWE is that they are racist towards black wrestlers. Virgil was quite clearly Ted DiBiase€™s slave, Cryme Tyme was a tag team of two street thugs who would dance and rob, Michael Hayes drunkenly offended Mark Henry at the WrestleMania 24 after party and Ricardo Rodriguez recently accused Triple H of degradingly nicknaming him €˜Bumblebee€™ after The Simpsons€™ Latin character. And what about that Triple H feud with Booker T in 2003? €œSomebody like you doesn€™t get to be a world champion.€ On Raw, McMahon shouted €œKeep it up, my n***a!€ to Booker T for no reason at all, just to say hello. Former WWE writer Dan Madigan added that Vince once told Puerto Rican Carlito to €œspic it up€, whilst Kamala claimed that officials often kicked him out of the dressing room and underpaid him for his Summerslam €™92 match against The Undertaker. The PW Torch believes that his private jet has a racially offensive nickname and he tells black wrestlers to be €œmore black€. There have been so many allegations made. From the current roster, athletes with great potential and ability like Kofi Kingston, Big E Langston and R-Truth are under-pushed. However, McMahon has given major title runs to The Rock, Mark Henry, Booker T and Bobby Lashley €“ showing that he€™s open to a black champion. Perhaps he feels the current bunch is unable to connect with the audience, or is full of mid-carders at best. Either way, it€™s a heavy accusation and there€™s at least some evidence there that Vinnie Mac has faith in African-Americans.
