The son of a former WWF Champion, Shawn Stasiak had a lot of pressure on him when he first entered the WWF in 1998. However, despite his best efforts, the only highlight of his first run was his historical loss to Kurt Angle in the Olympian's WWF debut.

His switch to WCW was far more successful, however, but WCW went out of business shortly after. The buyout led to another unsuccessful run in WWE, and Stasiak was eventually released for a second time in late 2002. Burnt out on the wrestling business and with no mainstream wrestling alternative in the US, Stasiak followed his own path and left the wrestling industry entirely.

In 2007, Stasiak became a fully-qualified chiropractor and currently practices in Dallas, Texas as part of the Advanced Comprehensive Medical team. In addition to chiropractic duties, Dr Shawn - as he is now known - also enjoys motivational speaking and uses his colourful alter-ego, Fobia, to deliver anti-bullying messages to kids.

From manipulating bones in the ring to adjusting bones outside of it, Stasiak has turned his post-wrestling career into a success - while his motivational speaking as Fobia also allows him to retain a little taste of the limelight and still indulge in his showman side as well.

Occasional wrestler, full-time gym rat and lifelong lover of the grapple game. Would probably buy you a shot of Jack at the bar in exchange for witty banter...and preferably more Jack. @MartynGrant88 for more wrestling-related musings and weight room wisecracks!
