10 Shocking Jobs Wrestlers Held After Leaving The Spotlight
3. Mideon - Chef
Perhaps one of the most shocking career changes for a superstar post-WWE is that of Dennis Knight.
Knight is better known to late '90s wrestling fans as Mideon of The Undertaker's Ministry of Darkness faction, or to older fans as one half of hillbilly tag team, The Godwinns, in the mid 1990s. While never a main event star, Knight was a staple of WWF TV for the second half of the '90s and won several championships along the way.
Since his departure in 2001, Knight appeared in several dark matches for WWE and had a one-night appearance for TNA - but stepped away from the ring for good in 2006. His life would undergo a drastic change thereafter. He traded the mat for the kitchen and became a chef in Clearwater, Florida. Having worked in a restaurant in high school, Knight rekindled his passion for cooking when he met the head chef of Cafe Ponte, who took him under his wing and showed him the ropes. After a spell in Cafe Ponte, Knight took his newfound skills to Sandpearl Resort and now runs his own private catering company, with Knight himself specialising in fancy presentations using premium ingredients.
Not bad at all for a man who rose to fame as a grappling hog farmer.
