2. SmackDown Wrestlers Stop Wrestling

In March 2020 WWE were taping all their shows at the Performance Centre due to the pandemic. WWE were scrambling to put on worthwhile shows in the lead-up to WrestleMania, with multiple talent missing due to travel restrictions, with Triple H even filling in on commentary.

A routine tag match with Bayley and Sasha Banks taking on Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross made major headlines when footage from the commercial break of the match was uploaded online. American audiences saw the match as it was intended but some international markets were treated to the bizarre visual of all four women taking a break.

Because the match was held at the PC, there were no fans in attendance, and because of this during the commercial break all the wrestlers in the match simply just took a break and breather and stopped wrestling. The leaked footage showed them binding their time waiting to come back from the commercial.

Soon after this, a mass email was sent out to WWE employees dictating they still needed to work through commercial breaks on TV, even without a live audience watching on.
