7. Michael Cole’s Leaked Audio

Commentating in WWE is an incredibly tough job at times for some, with Mr. McMahon being in your ear on a weekly basis.

Michael Cole deserves recognition for being in the job for as long as he has and putting up with a lot (remember him being booked in the Heidenreich assault?). Evidence of just how tough the job can be was revealed in May 2014 when unaired/unedited audio from the Friday Night SmackDown tapings was released online, which gave intriguing insight into how excessively produced the commentators in WWE actually are.

The audio was picked up from a satellite feed and quickly uploaded to YouTube. It featured Michael Cole and JBL on their headsets going back and forth for the plans of the show with Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn.

Shockingly at one point Cole asked Vince about a section in the show with "Do you want me to say that every time? Because I've said it a s***load of times tonight." This was then followed by a moment of silence where McMahon very likely verbally laid into Cole, as Cole’s next words in a cowering tone were "Okay. Yes sir. Yes sir. Okay, I've got it sir."
