Daniel Bryan bid his in-ring WWE career an emotional farewell at the climax of the February 8th 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw, but Titus O'Neil very nearly followed him out of the door with a misjudged attempt at horseplay with Vince McMahon.

Superstars past and present paid tribute to the 'Yes Man' on the stage as Raw went off the air, showering Bryan with praise and applause as he walked to the back. With the cameras just about to stop rolling, the briefest of skirmishes broke out between O'Neil and McMahon.

It was unclear if the push and shove between the two was friendly or a more aggressive callback to something more serious, but Titus was blasted with a 90-day suspension for the indiscretion that was at least later reduced by a month.

O'Neil resultantly missed WrestleMania and according some insiders, was even facing full termination over the seemingly innocuous incident. Despite limited in-ring improvement in the ring, he has at least remained employed since, and has gradually become a regular fixture on Monday Night Raw as a deluded promoter. His inspiration for the role may not be too hard to pinpoint.
