Maybe a better lesson than Warrior on "The Man That Rules The World" is the story of that time that Bill Goldberg almost died by smashing open a limousine window on live TV. After a Chris Benoit vs. Bret Hart match on a December 23, 1999 edition of WCW Thunder, the (once again reformed) NWO attacked Benoit, with Bill Goldberg making the save and cleaning house. Goldberg then chased Bret out of the arena, the one-time undefeated phenom spotting a limousine which contained nWo member Bret Hart. Instead of say, being given a weapon in order to bash open the limousine, Goldberg improvised and smashed the glass with his forearm. Shards of glass sliced deep into his forearm causing significant enough bleeding that Goldberg feared his arm being amputated.
