Promo work for Guardians of the Galaxy should be done, leaving Batista with a hole in his social calendar. On the heels of the massively successful movie, now might be a good time to bring The Animal back into the fold and it can be done in a variety of ways. If WWE wanted to bring Batista back as a good guy, he could return at the end of Night of Champions after Lesnar has defeated Cena and is still pummeling him after the match. Batista hits the ring and sends Lesnar packing, saving Cena a hellacious beatdown. He then could declare that hes back for his one-on-one title match from the Rumble and will go through Lesnar to get the title. But remembering how well babyface Batista worked earlier this year, he could return at NOC to cost Cena the match (or beat him down afterward) and vent about how he never got his one-on-one title match, yet Cena gets title match after title match. (Yes, that might make him a hero to the anti-Cena crowd, but still.) Boom, new insta-feud for Cena, freeing Lesnar up for whomever. Either way, if Batista is under contract, now is a good time to bring him back with star power running low.
