10 Shocking Returns That Could Happen At WWE Night Of Champions

4. Adrian Neville (And An Opponent For NXT Championship)

Last week, NXT held its third "special event," Takeover: Fatal 4-Way, which featured a show-stealing four-way match between champ Adrian Neville, Tyson Kidd, Sami Zayn and Tyler Breeze. Neville, who emerged victorious, has been champ for more than six months now, which is about the average length each of the previous three champs have held the belt before being called up to the main roster. So it stands to reason that Neville could be primed for a debut on the main roster sometime soon. What would be a better way to get the strap off him than to take the title to Night of Champions and declare that since every championship is on the line, he€™ll put his title up for grabs. Given how the four-way match ended -- with Neville seemingly turning heel against Zayn -- the two could lock up for the title and finally give perpetual underdog Zayn a big win on a bigger stage. Lord knows his character needs it, and it frees Neville up to transition over to the main roster. Additionally this would be an opportunity to highlight the next generation of superstars and would become yet another selling point for the WWE Network. NXT largely has been kept a separate world from WWE, but they did cross that border last week on Raw, so why not showcase NXT a little more?
