10 Shocking Wrestling Moments That’d Rock 2021

9. CM Punk Returns For One More Match

"Never say never" is one of those cliches that makes readers smile politely whilst simultaneously making them wretch. Sorry about that, here's a sick bag and... NEVER SAY NEVER! CM Punk might claim he's done with WWE as an active worker, but money talks.

He has lots of it already, sure.

Wouldn't it be something though if Vinnie Mac dangled the one golden carrot that eluded Punk during his first near-decade-long run with the promotion? If McMahon called up Punk and offered him the chance to headline one of those WrestleMania cards discussed in the opening entry, then there'd be some serious thinking to do.

A lot of things would have to be stacked in Punk's favour for that to happen. He'd need boatloads of cash, ample time to prepare and probably the ability to play Hulk Hogan circa 1998 by seizing creative control of his own destiny. If WWE could offer that, then who knows?
