10 Shocking Wrestling Moments That’d Rock 2021

8. John Cena Breaks The Record

Some will argue that this is one of the most likely on this list.

It is, there's no getting away from that. John Cena is much more of a company man than CM Punk ever was, and WWE is much poorer without him. Quiet in the back haters, it's the truth - a Cena-less WWE just doesn't feel right, especially when the organisation is having such a difficult time creating new stars to replace him.

When he's in between film projects and fancies another whirl, WWE will be waiting. They'd also be highly likely to tempt John back in with a record-breaking 17th World Title win on one of its bigger pay-per-views. Envisioning Cena returning to bite back against Roman Reigns' dominance is actually pretty cool.

They only got one supershow match, after all, and it was one of those weird babyface vs. babyface affairs that left the crowd confused. Imagine that reaction if Cena's music hit when fans were back in buildings - it'd shatter eardrums.
