10 Shocks We Might See At WWE Night Of Champions 2014

1. John Cena Will Defeat Brock Lesnar For The World Title

This would rank right up there with one of the dumbest ideas in recent memory. You've just had Brock Lesnar, the beast of MMA and one of the most intimidating men walking God's green Earth, defeat your 457-time world champion in a dominating performance. Lesnar took Cena's Attitude Adjustment finisher and laughed at him, for God's sake. You've succeeded in making Lesnar a monster heel who seems unbeatable and never takes a step back from anyone. Against all odds, you've got a world champion who can actually have fresh matchups with other guys and draw money for the WWE Network. They wouldn't really flush that all down the toilet for the mediocrity of another Cena title run would they? Yes, yes they would. Everyone seems to think that Lesnar winning this match is a foregone conclusion and that Brock will move on to someone else right after this. However, this is Vince McMahon we are talking about, the man has the attention span of a fruit fly and changes his mind on whim. Would you really be surprised if Vince goes nuts the night before the event and has Cena win clean because SUPER CENA! There are rumors that Lesnar's next opponent will be the Big Show, which would be awesome if this was 2001. Big Show is long past his expiration date and his continued elevation as a main eventer proves that WWE has exactly zero new stars ready for a primetime slot. Roman Reigns is presumably Lesnar's opponent at Wrestlemania 31, but can Vince wait that long?
