10 Shocks We Might See At WWE Night Of Champions 2014
4. Seth Rollins Will Lose His Money In The Bank Case To Roman Reigns
This match hasn't been announced yet but Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns seems to be the direction WWE is heading since Dean Ambrose is off filming a movie. The talk around the water cooler is that Seth Rollins is seen as the personal pet project of Triple H because Hunter believes Rollins can be a big star one day. That may certainly be true but Reigns is the one with the proverbial rocket attached to his backside right now and WWE may be itching to pull the trigger him slightly early. Rumors persist that Roman Reigns will be the challenger to Brock Lesnar in the main event of Wrestlemania 31. There are two ways for him to get this slot: Win the Royal Rumble in January or cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase. Common sense says that a Royal Rumble win may be the best way to go, putting Reigns over everyone else in the promotion would definitely give him a boost. However, Reigns could also cash in the briefcase won from his former partner to build to the match with Lesnar and create a buzz about when he might cash it in. So long as Lesnar is world champion, no one is going to believe that Rollins is going to cash in his case. Not only is Rollins also a heel, his character at this point is no where near the status of Brock Lesnar. If Reigns can win the case, the buzz for Wrestlemania could start as early as September.
