10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At Royal Rumble 2019

3. Seth Rollins Goes From First To Last

'Burn It Down'.

2018, in-ring, belonged to Seth Rollins. He was WWE's MVP (not Montel Vontavious Porter) and reliably filled the workhorse spot better than anybody. In last year's Rumble, he lasted 19 minutes before being ousted by Roman Reigns. This year, he might sense he's in for a bit of a longer shift.

WWE haven't revealed who the first entrant to the men's Rumble will be. What if it's Rollins? What if this is the year he works the old Shawn Michaels routine and goes from first to last, wins the whole thing, stuns bookies' choice Drew McIntyre and gets back to the centre stage at WrestleMania? Stranger things have happened.

So, why would this be a shock? Well, Seth is currently mired in a feud with ex-Shield pal Dean Ambrose, and he was reportedly set to collide with Brock Lesnar at 'Mania before McMahon's plans changed. If we're to assume it's only Braun Strowman's role in that booking that's been cancelled by Vince, Rollins may still be a solid outside bet.
