That's likely to be the formula when 'Stone Cold' next appears on WWE telly, but the question is...exactly when will that be? It might be the Rumble. Why not? Austin hasn't worked a match since beating Kevin Owens at 'Mania 38, and WWE knows he has a few left in him due to the strength of that performance.

The legend has been showing off some more training vids via social media recently too, so anticipation is there for a Rumble showing. The place would come unglued if that familiar entrance track blared over the speakers, put it that way.

Whomever eliminates Steve would get to be his chief rival heading into WrestleMania too. That's a golden spot for somebody (arguably almost as valuable as a World Title match on either card). It'd just be sweet to see him in a Rumble for the first time since 2002.
