5. Cody Rhodes Winning His Second Rumble
Repeat Rumble winners are hard to come by, especially in the modern era.
Hulk Hogan, Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin managed back-to-back triumphs many moons ago, but WWE tends to try and single out Rumble wins these days. If anyone does repeat, then they'll likely to do so years after the original (like Randy Orton in 2009 and 2017).
There's been a touch of ill-feeling from fans towards booking ever since Cody Rhodes jobbed to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39 though. Cody is still to "finish the story", and he won't be able to close the book until he's vanquished Roman and held World Titles aloft on the grandest stage.
It'd be risky, but perhaps Rhodes is about to succeed for the second year running. Then, he can right the wrongs of 'Mania 39 by pinning Reigns clean as a whistle in Philadelphia at 'Mania 40. If that's the plan, then fingers and toes crossed his babyface fires burn bright enough to make the wait worthwhile.
