10 Shocks WWE Could Pull At SummerSlam 2018

6. Kevin Owens Becomes Mr. Money In The Bank

The Shock:

Kevin Owens, recovering from booking that has portrayed him as cowardly as Carmella, somehow finds a way to win the briefcase from Braun Strowman. Heaven forbid how this actually happens, but in an era of WCW booking backed by Disney money, it could, and it won't matter how awful it is if it does. Perhaps KO will tape Strowman to a table or something, with help from Jinder Mahal, setting up the Monster's next programme. While that is horrifyingly plausible satire, the prospect of Braun getting those hands on a Singh brother is actually ghoulishly awesome.

The Likelihood: 10%

Owens doesn't have to climb a ladder to become Mr. Money In The Bank, which is just as well, since he is afraid of heights. Well, he was for a week, so that doesn't matter any more. Owens is one of few top heels on a lopsided RAW brand. If WWE actually withdraws its four-year Roman investment, there are few heel opponents for the Big Dog to Superman Punch (f*ck you and your conditioning, Michael Cole) in the autumn.

It's either Kevin, who sadly doesn't even have to win to get to Roman, or, dear me, Constable Corbin.
