10 Shocks WWE Need To Book At Extreme Rules

4. Sheamus Does A 'Brock Lesnar-Style' Beat Down

What€™s the best way to counter the €˜You Look Stupid€™ chants that have been directed at Sheamus since his return on the RAW after WrestleMania? By having him decimate someone or something so badly that it becomes the new talking point when Sheamus€™ name is brought up. Instead of having him cut any promos, what WWE should do is something similar to his RAW debut in 2009, when he decimated Jamie Noble so badly that he was €˜forced into retirement€™. That established Sheamus as a dangerous force on RAW, and elevated him very quickly. He wasn€™t cutting promos; he was attacking people left, right, and centre without provocation or reason. The idea behind this would be to really elevate Sheamus as a credible threat to the Champions in the company. People need to stop thinking of Sheamus as €˜that guy who only gets pushed because he€™s buddies with Triple H€™, and instead of thinking of him as €˜that merciless guy that people want to see kick other people€™s asses/that guy people want to see get what he has coming to him.€™ The current rumors suggest that Sheamus is scheduled to face Dolph Ziggler in singles competition at Extreme Rules. To achieve this goal of elevating Sheamus, WWE should book him to destroy Ziggler so badly that Ziggler has to be stretchered out of the arena and (in storyline) put on the shelf. This would garner him some serious heat, especially since the crowd simply loves Ziggler, and switch the fan€™s focus from his appearance to his actions.
