10 Shocks WWE Need To Book At Extreme Rules

5. Charlotte's Full-Time Main Show Debut

With AJ Lee€™s sudden and unexpected retirement from WWE, the Divas Division is once again lacking in the skilled worker€™s department. While they do have the likes of Natalya and Paige, and to a lesser extent Naomi, as reliable workers, a big part of AJ Lee€™s popularity was her emphasis on actual wrestling over appearance. In order for someone to fill the void caused by her retirement, WWE needs to bring in someone who has a reputation for hard work and excellent wrestling, while still doing well in the looks department. Enter Charlotte. Ric Flair€™s daughter is one of the most praised women in WWE right now. Many of the WWE€™s higher-ups, including Vince himself, are said to be really happy with her work, and many observers think that it€™s only a matter of time before Charlotte makes her full-time debut on WWE€™s flagship shows. While she wouldn€™t be having the same kind of wrestling matches on RAW or SmackDown that she would in NXT, due to the main shows€™ ridiculous time constraints and rigid nature, her skill would make her an ideal candidate for the main show, and would attract a lot of regular NXT viewers to the main shows. In terms of Extreme Rules, WWE could continue with the current Battle Royal storyline, where one of the Divas faces Nicki Bella at Extreme Rules for the WWE Divas Championship. After Nicki were to retain (because, Total Divas), Charlotte would come down the aisle and attack both Bellas, signaling her intent on capturing the Divas Championship. It would make a nice surprise, especially considering that Charlotte€™s an amazing wrestler whose skills are desperately needed in an otherwise limited division with few other great female wrestlers.
