10 Short-Lived Wrestling Stables You Totally Don’t Remember

1. The Magnificent Seven

Finding a picture of The Magnificent Seven that doesn't look like it was spewed out by a 1995 dot matrix printer is borderline impossible. Ric Flair's array of talent only existed between January-March 2001, and that was when WCW were hitting the skids and about to be bought out by Vince McMahon.

Following January's Sin pay-per-view, Flair revealed that he was forming an elite unit comprised of Road Warrior Animal, Scott Steiner, Lex Luger, Rick Steiner, Buff Bagwell and (later) Jeff Jarrett. Once Jeff did join, Ric dubbed his army The Magnificent Seven, and they focused on ensuring Kevin Nash didn't become WCW World Champ.

It was a decent concept, albeit one hampered by the fact WCW was a rudderless ship.

You'd be forgiven for knowing next-to-nothing about the group. Two months after forming, they were canned so Flair could resume his feud with Dusty Rhodes and then cut a passionate babyface promo on the final Nitro.

Which, if any, of these short-lived factions do you remember clearly? Let us know down in the comments section below!
