10 Shortest Women's Championship Reigns In WWE History

The Fabulous Moolah

Moolah was the originator of the eight-day reign, winning and losing a title she had held hostage for the better part of 45 years in 1999 in a typically shenanigan-filled scenario, as was the case with everything during the Attitude Era.

With Mae Young lending a hand, Moolah pinned Ivory at No Mercy to become the oldest champion in company history at the age of 76!

She dropped the belt back to the same woman on Raw the next week in under 30 seconds to reclaim - barely - some of the title prestige that her initial defeat dented.

Sasha Banks

Every single one of Banks' four reigns have lasted less than a month, but this was the shortest of the lot.

Banks knocked off Alexa Bliss at SummerSlam 2017, only to drop it right back to Bliss just eight days later on Raw.

It was a confusing scenario for both parties. Banks got her rematch, kind of, in a fatal five-way at No Mercy before falling out of the title scene, while Bliss continued where she left off with her previous reign, taking off on a record-breaking (at the time) 223-day run.

Naomi

Naomi battled injuries and gimmick changes for half a decade before she reached the top of the mountain.

She captured the blue belt from Alexa Bliss at Elimination Chamber in 2017 to finally launch her run at the pointy end of the women's division, thanks to the success of her new glow persona.

Sadly for Mrs Fatu, she would be forced to hand the title over after just eight days, having suffered a legitimate knee injury that ruled her out of action.

She did return just two months later to win the championship once more at WrestleMania 33, kicking off a much more deserved run with the belt.
