Length of WWE Championship Reign: 2:10

OK, now we’re really into the point where timing is everything. Just in case anyone is really trying to track this, the title reign starts (and in most cases, ends) with the ringing of the bell, signifying the end of the match.

Wrestling fans should be well aware of this infamous entry, when Yokozuna bested Bret “Hitman” Hart at WrestleMania 9 to capture the WWF Championship, with a little help from Mr. Fuji and a handful of ceremonial salt.

But before the celebration could get underway, Hart’s “good friend” Hulk Hogan came out to check on the Hitman. Fuji stupidly challenged Hogan to a world title match right then and there. With Hart’s blinded blessing, Hulk jumped into the ring, evaded Fuji’s salt, and pinned Yoko for his fifth world title victory.

In reality, this was the beginning of the end of Hulkamania in WWF, as he would leave the company a few months later after dropping the title and wouldn’t return for nearly nine years. But hey, the Hulkster got his big Mania moment, brother.
