10 SICK & TWISTED Wrestling Funerals

9. The Undertaker Underplays It For Once

Kane could have beaten Jim Ross to the bookshelves with a cookbook of his own had he included all the times he'd tried oven bake his brother (more on that - those, in fact - elsewhere), but he unlocked a low key 'Deadman' banter moment during a totally off-the-rails programme with Randy Ortoin.

You remember the one. Tucked away slightly on SmackDown to try and force Randy Orton into behaving like a grown-up for once in his over-privileged life, the post-WrestleMania 21 series between 'The Deadman' and 'The Legend Killer' took on an altogether less serious tone than their prior feud.

Zoinks, is that Cowboy Bob Orton getting involved?! Ha ha, Josh Matthews has been possessed! Eddie Guerrero's low-rider is rubble via blazing car wreck in an attempt to legit kill 'Taker...lol?

Anyhow, The Ortons went to the trouble of making a waxwork Undertaker to rattle-then-memorialise the fallen icon, and booked themselves a funeral to get their money's worth out of it. Darkly amusing in and of itself, it got funnier still (and by design, no less!) when the waxwork peered at the Ortons, revealing that they were about to get a sh*tkicking from the real deal!

It was a bit of welcome levity even if it couldn't last - Orton was battered in a dreary Hell In A Cell payoff to see out 2005 and move him into the serious business of bullying Rey Mysterio for missing his dead friend.
