10 SICK & TWISTED Wrestling Funerals

8. Impact Plays With Fire

Impact

Impact Wrestling have always been able to fly a little closer to the sun when it comes to the supernatural, with death (albeit tongue-in-cheek) just one of many subjects the company has been able to confront in a way more in keeping with their weekly show.

Such was the case when the terrifying Su Yung arrived in 2018.

After settling into life as the show's resident spooky character with remarkable ease, Yung took things to a natural extreme during a feud with the fearless babyface (and supernatural-adjacent) Rosemary. Using her army of undead bridesmaids (!) to stuff her into a coffin, Rosemary was at very least presumed to be in trouble before a vignette aired of her meeting what most assumed had to be a permanent end.

The bridesmaids wheeled the casked out to the woods and set it ablaze, presumably sentencing the character to a literal early grave. In reality, this bizarre set piece was concocted in order for Rosemary to recover from injuries. Her return (from the dead) generated enough of a pop to suggest that the laws of Impact's universe had been fully adhered to even if the ones of this earth might have been a little stretched.
