It’s crazy to think about, but 10 years ago Seth Rollins appeared in TNA for a match on Impact against L.A.X. He competed with his ROH name in Tyler Black, and was only used as a jobber for the night. That was it for his entire run with the company.

If only someone in all of management had said “Hey, you know what? This guy is pretty good, and he'd be a really low-risk investment. Let’s sign him!”. But nobody did, and so Rollins went on to become one of WWEs most important roster members of the past few years. TNA could have had him first.

Exactly who in the hell was in charge of talent relations at the time? Whoever it was hopefully has spent at least a few sleepless nights thinking about how they let him get away, as Rollins could have been the architect of the company in the years to come.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
