10 Signs That Point To WWE WrestleMania 34 Being AWESOME

6. WWE Is Serious With The Asuka Push

Asuka was amazing in Sunday's Royal Rumble match; whether cracking Sasha Banks in the face or mercilessly taunting Ember Moon's arm injury, the Empress exhibited that she truly is among the world's elite - irrespective of gender. Everybody knows this already. WWE never once flirted with the idea of sacrificing her merited win at the altar of Ronda Rousey. She is too evidently valuable to f*ck with.

Which opponent awaits Asuka in New Orleans?

WWE already ran through the Alexa Bliss match, which is a shame; Alexa, having mastered her character and proven herself, at TLC, capable of delivering the very good match that apparently eludes her, deserves a sendoff as RAW Women's Champion. Mickie James; Nia Jax; Bayley; Alicia Fox - there are no other prospective matches that feel remotely worthy of WrestleMania. WWE also burned through Asuka Vs. Sasha Banks on this week's RAW - but Asuka Vs. The Boss Sasha Banks is another proposition altogether, offering both a fresh spin on this week's match and a sorely needed rehabilitation of an aimless career. The chemistry is evident; the prospect, in terms of body language alone, is alluring.

Regardless of the answer to that question, there is no question of WWE squandering the selling point of the first-ever Women's Rumble.
