10 Signs That Point To WWE WrestleMania 34 Being AWESOME

2. Nothing Less Than Fascinating

Brock Lesnar Vs. Roman Reigns, at WrestleMania 31, delivered everything except its predictable poisoned promise.

Lesnar in 2015 was very much the Beast he was marketed as; having killed off SuperCena at SummerSlam '14, Brock wrestled the best WWE match in aeons at the Royal Rumble. With his aura and ring game at its apex, the Conqueror obliterated Reigns in a match of palpable danger. Reigns, meanwhile, responded to the cruelty with a wry smile in a deft psychological touch, refusing Lesnar the pleasure of his sadistic onslaught with the body language of a masochist.

The outcome is not in doubt - but nor is the quality of the match. Besides which, even if Lesnar and Reigns contrive to disappoint on the night, there is zero chance of anybody forgetting it. It's both the match few apparently want to see and the match absolutely nobody will be able to prise their eyes from - which should highlight the extent to which Reigns is, indisputably, a star.

The reaction alone will elevate the contest to mythical proportions which, really, is what WWE was after all along.
