10 Signs WWE’s Women’s Revolution Is Dead
8. The Disappearance Of Paige
Playful “Let’s Go Adam” chants at the start of AEW Revolution 2022’s main event suggested wrestling fans could understand, and even have fun with, the idea of two guys sharing a name. Nonetheless, it’s a situation WWE have long sought to avoid for the sake of clarity. Odd then, that WWE referee Chloe Christmas recently had her name officially changed to Paige.
Meanwhile, the original Paige’s exclusion from the WWE 2K22 roster caught even “The Anti-Diva” herself off-guard, with a recent tweet making her displeasure public. Since injuries forced her into early retirement, Paige has been used in a number of different TV roles, from General Manager of SmackDown to manager of the Kabuki Warriors and WWE Backstage pundit, but it’s been some time since she was last on our screens.

Her story was such a compelling part of the modern WWE narrative that they made a movie out of it. But with the company moving back towards Diva adjacent characters like Toxic Attraction and daddy’s girl Tiffany Stratton, is it a story they’re no longer interested in telling?
