10 Signs You Watch Too Much WWE
1. You Write Fan Fiction
Only an elite group of us will ever be able to make a living writing wrestling storylines, but that doesn't stop the rest of us from dreaming. After all, when you look at some of the rubbish the WWE creative team have churned out over the years, you can't help but feel that landing a job on Vince McMahon's payroll might actually be an outside possibility.
To prove your mettle, though, you need a body of work you can point to in your interview, and penning elaborate fan fiction in your spare time is a good way to start. This has been a part of internet wrestling culture for as long has there has been an internet, in fact, and we're sure at least one exponent of it has ended up with a desk in Stanford.
The only problem is that it can be very time-consuming to write five hours of television a week plus, if you're really committed, NXT and 205 Live as well as a pay-per-view at the end of each month. You may find it has an adverse affect on your social life, and worse still the very wrestlers you idolise could stumble on your work and take it the wrong way. Then, before you know it, you're not allowed within 100 feet of Dean Ambrose.
