10 Small Changes That Would Improve WWE

7. Dim The Lights

The least useful thing WWE has done in recent years is to add LED boards everywhere in sight. The stage, the ring apron, the ring posts, even the venue itself constantly are covered with gaudy, twinkling lights.

Also, the crowds are so brightly lit on TV that sometimes garishly dressed fans are more noticeable than the wrestlers. By contrast, New Japan Pro Wrestling keeps the crowd dimmed, even in big arenas like the Tokyo Dome. WWE has dabbled in this a bit as well, on NXT and especially during the Cruiserweight Classic, even though those were held in a smaller venue.

While it's nice to show how big the crowd is, there's nothing wrong with putting more of the spotlight on the ring and the match.
