10 Smart Decisions WWE Made At WrestleMania 30 & Raw

3. Using Hogan, Austin And Rock To Open WrestleMania

It was expected that Hulk Hogan would start WrestleMania since he was announced as the host of the event. We also knew that Steve Austin and The Rock would be there since WWE announced it during the week. They didn't announce it during Raw last week, but it was something they shared on social media in the days leading up to the event. The question was, how would they use them on the show? Lucky for us, they decided to have Hogan, Austin and Rock in the ring together. It was a surreal moment as three of the biggest stars in WWE history stood in the ring talking about their history as well as the future of the company. While it would have been fun to see a Stunner or Rock Bottom on some comedic heel (somebody call the 3MB group), it was incredible to see them in the same ring at WrestleMania 30. Unforgettable moment. The cool thing about this moment is they were able to improvise with some comedy as well. We can thank Hulk Hogan for that since he incorrectly called the building the Silverdome (it's the Superdome) on more than one occasion. Austin ribbed him about it in the ring. The Rock did as well. Others did the next night also. It was the perfect way to start what would end up being an outstanding WrestleMania.
