10 Sneaky WWE Makeovers

10. Dean Ambrose

When a banged-up Dean Ambrose wrestled on WWE TV in late-2017, his body was spindly, bruised and probably hurting. Around nine months later, Ambrose bounced back onto Raw and had visibly been hitting the weights hard. Well-muscled and with shoulders for days, he was a new man.

The sneaky thing here is that Ambrose, now known as AEW and New Japan's Jon Moxley, didn't use social media at all during his WWE run. Fans therefore had no way to keep tabs on his physical progress, and most expected he'd return as the same floppy-haired wise-cracker of before.

Not quite. Ambrose 2.0 was in better nick than he'd ever been.

The good news is that Moxley has kept himself in prime shape for his AEW debut and recent IWGP Intercontinental Title win. The bad news, for WWE, is that the McMahon family aren't reaping the rewards of his hard graft and quiet decision to remould his body in 2018.
