SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan was the picture of good health. He'd found peace with his retirement from the ring (or so we all thought) and looked fresh-faced with a cropped beard and hair combo. The range of smart suit jackets and well-ironed plaid shirts he wore on TV also gave the impression that Bryan was in a good place.

It's slightly twisted then that he's in a much better place mentally now he's back in the ring, but his style and look has shifted. With his long, straggly hair, unkempt beard and mix of faded t-shirts and cotton wear, Daniel is like WWE's own Kurt Cobain. He wouldn't look out of place in any early-90s grunge band, to be honest.

It's only when one sees side-by-side snaps of Bryan then and now that his alteration becomes obvious. He's made a conscious effort to reflect the eco-friendly character he plays on screen; it's probably not too hard considering the gimmick is based on reality.
