10 Stars That Are Definitely Future WWE Hall Of Famers

1. €˜Macho Man€™ Randy Savage

The greatest, and by far the most glaring, omission from the WWE Hall of Fame so far is €˜Macho Man€™ Randy Savage. An incredible worker and a perfect champion, the Macho Man was one of the most visible WWE superstars of the company€™s €˜Rock n Wrestling€™ era. In short, Randy Savage had it all, the colourful look, the athletic build, the raw throated charisma and the ability to wrestle a discarded shoe to a great match. He was everything that wrestling promoters, even today, should look for in a World Champion. Yet, amazingly, he has yet to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. There is just one word for this: travesty. I shall be fully investigating this particular miscarriage of justice in an upcoming feature, but until I do, rest easy in the knowledge that one day, in your lifetime, YOU WILL SEE RANDY SAVAGE IN THE WWE HALL OF FAME. His fan support is too strong, his legacy is too memorable and his body of work was too great for the company to keep on ignoring him. To do so does a massive disservice to the history of the business and the fans (that€™s us) that support it. WWE has shown that it is willing to mend fences with even the most embittered stars in the interest of keeping its Hall of Fame complete. To this end, the company has extended olive branches to slighted or disgruntled former employees such as Bret Hart, The Ultimate warrior, Superstar Graham and Bruno Sammartino, amongst others. It is, therefore, upon us as fans to keep the pressure on until the WWE has no choice but to admit its egregious mistake and induct the Macho Man. His day is coming... ...And that, as they say, is that. 10 stars, the majority of whom are still working for the company in some capacity, that will definitely become inductees to the WWE Hall of Fame one day. It may not happen this year, maybe not next year, but soon...Count on it.

I am a professional author and lifelong comic books/pro wrestling fan. I also work as a journalist as well as writing comic books (I also draw), screenplays, stage plays, songs and prose fiction. I don't generally read or reply to comments here on What Culture (too many trolls!), but if you follow my Twitter (@heyquicksilver), I'll talk to you all day long! If you are interested in reading more of my stuff, you can find it on http://quicksilverstories.weebly.com/ (my personal site, which has other wrestling/comics/pop culture stuff on it). I also write for FLiCK http://www.flickonline.co.uk/flicktion, which is the best place to read my fiction work. Oh yeah - I'm about to become a Dad for the first time, so if my stuff seems more sentimental than usual - blame it on that! Finally, I sincerely appreciate every single read I get. So if you're reading this, thank you, you've made me feel like Shakespeare for a day! (see what I mean?) Latcho Drom, - CQ
