10 Steps IMPACT Wrestling Must Take Following Slammiversary 2021

6. Have Deonna Purrazzo Break Records

Right now, there is literally no need to write that Deonna Purrazzo is one of IMPACT's greatest knockouts/workers in general ever. She's established this within her official debut year with the promotion, garnering two Knockouts Championship reigns, and the 2020 Wrestler and Knockout of the Year awards to her name.

'The Virtuosa' is legitimately going to go down as an IMPACT legend when she's finished there. To achieve such a thing is an admirable feat in itself, but to do it in such a short timeframe is praiseworthy. IMPACT can't let up on this, but rather make the most out of Deonna while they have her under contract. You see, the commendable work she's producing under the IMPACT banner will make her a wanted act once her current contract is due for expiration.

For example, why not have Deonna break the record for the longest Knockouts Championship reign? It may be a tad too soon to do this soon after the now-Franky Monet broke that record last year, however, Purrazzo is certainly deserving of such an accolade. A Deonna title defence as a pay-per-view main event would work, too; the then-Taya Valkyrie never had that opportunity.

If not a pay-per-view, then an IMPACT Plus special would suffice. Deonna is a main event-calibre talent. IMPACT management would be foolish to pass up such an opportunity.
