Chris Jericho is a guy who's been in just about every type of match in WWE history: Last Man Standing, Hell in a Cell, TLC Matches and Ladder Matches; he's taken bumps off of cages, through tables and onto concrete and yet, only once has he ever been knocked unconscious in his 24 year career and it was from none of that. Rather, it was from one beast of a Lariat by Batista in a 6-Man Tag Match in 2004. Also involving Edge, Orton, Flair and Krispin Wah, the match broke down into a classic Pier Six Brawl at the end of the bout and Batista, on the verge of his first big singles push after Orton would leave Evolution a month later, decided to make a statement with a measured Lariat right across Jericho's head which sent his neck snapping back and his head into the canvas, legitimately knocking him out for a few seconds. It has been debated since whether Jericho intentionally leaked the reports of his unconsciousness in an attempt to get Batista over as a beast or whether it genuinely happened. What's not up for debate is that Batista put it all behind this strike.
