10 Stiffest WWE Wrestlers Ever

9. The Acolytes

Stan Hansen's influence on Bradshaw's work was so abundantly clear that the former Acolyte often felt like a tribute act to the legendary Texan, whose own WWE contributions were too obtuse and sporadic to consider including him on this list. Without the Stamford qualifier, Hansen would be a top-three candidate.

While Bradshaw was never as brutal as Hansen, he and partner Faarooq were stiffer than breezeblocks. The Clothesline From Hell is one of the move's nastiest executions, and not only for the crazy flip bumps those on the receiving end would take. That thing was starchy. Ron Simmons, meanwhile, took the strength and power that made him a standout college defensive tackle and put it into every powerbomb, suplex, and Dominator.

Wrestling the Acolytes was never an easy night. Per locker-room lore, Vince McMahon would often send other tag teams out to face Faarooq and Bradshaw as a test of their toughness. Survive, and in Vince's mind, they were cut out for this line of work. Wither, and they may be in trouble.

Lord help you if the APA didn't like you. See their infamous Sunday Night Heat squash of Public Enemy for Faarooq and Bradshaw at their hardest:-
