The rivalry between Sting and Ric Flair was, arguably, the greatest in the storied history of World Championship Wrestling. It was a program that started the company in 1990 and one that ended it some 11 years later. Flair was responsible for making Sting a star, for elevating him to the top of the Ted Turner-owned promotion as its most marketable babyface.
