3. Sting & Lex Luger vs. The Steiner Brothers (Superbrawl 1991)

Luger and Sting were best friends who just wanted a tag title shot and the Steiners granted it to them. Thankfully, a completely awesome match was the result of that. Both teams were babyfaces, so with no clear heel team to get the heat, the four guys just decided to have a ridiculous back-and-forth match that was the Steiners last great match in the United States before injuries took their toll. The crowd was absolutely insane for the match and the workers put on a wrestling clinic. The Steiners used their power and brawling tactics while Sting and Luger used teamwork and quickness to get their offense in. Sting and Scott exchanged reversals on a Tombstone piledriver while Luger and Rick brawled on the outside. Sting hit his patented Stinger Splash in the corner but his nemesis Nikita Koloff made his way to ringside. Koloff wrapped a chain around his hand and took a swing at Luger. Sting saw this happening and, in an effort to save his friend, shoved Luger out of the way and took Nikita's punch to the face, falling backward and being pinned by Scott Steiner to end the match. The match absolutely still holds up to this day and it was voted the 1991 Match of the Year. While the rest of Superbrawl was fairly forgettable, this tag match is well worth your time.
