10 Sting WWE Matches You'll Never Get To See

8. Bray Wyatt

Just a quick aside, how sad is it that the first three names on this list should be the future of the heel roster in WWE, yet have all been neutered into irrelevance? When the New World Order started running amok in WCW, Sting drastically changed his character in the face of doubts and distrust from his long-time colleagues in WCW. Gone was the blond hair, the colourful face paint and the high energy, instead replaced by a reclusive Crow-inspired gimmick which we know and love today. Whilst he never really dabbled in the supernatural, Sting's refusal to play the game and interact with the show on a standard level gave him an otherworldliness, truly different to the tough guys that surrounded him. Bray Wyatt comes with the same aura, or at least he did. A match between Bray Wyatt and Sting certainly wouldn't be a five star classic, but the character-work and build could most certainly be something special.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
