When the New World Order started running amok in WCW, Sting drastically changed his character in the face of doubts and distrust from his long-time colleagues in WCW. Gone was the blond hair, the colourful face paint and the high energy, instead replaced by a reclusive Crow-inspired gimmick which we know and love today. Whilst he never really dabbled in the supernatural, Sting's refusal to play the game and interact with the show on a standard level gave him an otherworldliness, truly different to the tough guys that surrounded him. Bray Wyatt comes with the same aura, or at least he did. A match between Bray Wyatt and Sting certainly wouldn't be a five star classic, but the character-work and build could most certainly be something special.
