Heenan spent arguably the best part of his career barking ringside orders at Andre the Giant, but he was also responsible, away from the squared circle, for keeping the seven-foot-something Frenchman on the straight and narrow.

That, for obvious reasons, is a task easier said than done, and it seems there were a few choice occasions on which Heenan couldn't help but indulge his client's legendary drinking habits. According to a Vince McMahon anecdote from Michael Krugman's biography of Andre, the big man once projectile vomited across a cabby's windshield after a drinking session with Heenan in New York, causing him to nearly crash.

Artistic licence aside: if even half the stories about Andre's boozing are true, it is probably testament to Heenan that he was able to fulfill a fraction of his WWE appearances.
