10 Storylines WWE Has Already Messed Up In 2018
9. Bálor Club Reunion
Ever since WWE brought numerous members of the hugely popular Bullet Club faction into the company, fans have been fantasy booking multiple scenarios that would see them working together in America to become as dominant as they were in Japan. Around the New Year, it looked as if they would finally get their wish, when Finn Bálor enlisted Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson as tag team partners, fulfilling the promise of the 'Bálor Club' merchandise WWE has been selling for years.
For a few weeks, this was an intriguing story. Bálor seemed to be teasing a more arrogant and potentially villainous side to his character, with Gallows and Anderson serving as very effective muscle. The trio got a fun 'Too Sweet' moment with D-Generation X on the Raw 25 show and were poised to take on the Raw roster with Bálor at their head.
However, the company soon lost interest in this idea. Bálor was shuffled into the Intercontinental Championship picture for WrestleMania, where his colleagues were conspicuously absent. The Good Brothers, meanwhile, have now been moved to SmackDown in the Superstar Shake-up, putting an end to the Bálor Club experiment for the time being. The presence of another Bullet Club alumnus on that show, however, suggests there might be life in their story yet.
