10 Strangest Times Wrestlers Turned Up In Character Outside Of Wrestling

9. Mankind - Boy Meets World

It wasn't so unusual for WWE Superstars to show up in-character at interviews and press conferences, but one appearing on another television show under their gimmick was a bit rarer of a sight. Mick Foley did just that when he made an appearance on the seventh season of Boy Meets World during an episode entitled "For Love and Apartments (Part 2)."

While Cory and Shawn tried to convince Topanga's parents to stay together in a more heartfelt side of the episode, Rachel, Angela, and Topanga challenged Jack and Eric to a wrestling match to determine whether the boys or girls would get to keep their apartment.

The five them argued over the wrestling match's logistics, namely, how it couldn't be a fair fight without a referee. On cue, Foley in Mankind garb broke into the room to offer his assistance. Little did the guys know it was the girls who brought him in. Mankind decimated the boys by demonstrating illegal moves on them as he explained the rules - sly act that handed the victory over to the ladies.

Foley didn't just wear the costume for the show. He also played the part (albeit a bit cornier) as he demolished every guy in the room just for looking at him strangely, and he even pulled out the sock and applied The Mandible Claw...to a teenager.
