Crime: Reportedly extorting Vince McMahon for $300,000 in 1999.

Time Served: 19 years.

When Jeff Jarrett strutted out for his 2018 WWE Hall of Fame induction, it was the first time he'd existed within the company's universe since 1999, when he may or may not have pulled one of the greatest cash-grabs in WWE history.

'Double J' was Intercontinental Champion heading into No Mercy 1999. He was set to defend the gold against Chyna that night, but his contract expired one day before the event, and he was on the verge of walking out for a bumper new deal with WCW. As he effectively had the power to take the belt with him, Jarrett allegedly demanded Vince McMahon pay him $300,000 to drop the gold to Chyna in their Good Housekeeping match, thus sparing the Chairman's blushes.

Jeff denied the story many years later, but he remained on WWE's blacklist regardless. When McMahon bought WCW, he made a huge deal out of firing Jarrett live on air, and Jeff was left to carve out his own niche in Total Nonstop Action - the company he formed with his father in 2002.
